For those in the affected area without mail service, payments will be held at the USPS facility in Dallas, Texas until the local post office opens. If you reside in one of the affected areas and have trouble receiving your annuity check in the mail, contact retirement services 1-888-767-6738:
- Change from a check to Direct Deposit/EFT, or
- Change the payment address to another address.
The Treasury Department confirmed that there were no disruptions in electronic fund transfer (EFT) payments caused by Hurricane Harvey.
