Performance Management Portal
The OPM Non-SES/SL/ST Performance Management Portal is a centralized location for OPM to provide information and resources related to non-Senior Executive Service (SES) and non-Senior-level and Scientific or Professional (SL/ST) performance management with Federal agencies in the Executive Branch. The Portal is accessible through the Office of Management and Budget’s MAX Information System (MAX) and contains information for Federal agency use only. Therefore, access to this site is limited to registered MAX.gov users. Self-registration is available to Federal Government employees and contractors with Federal Government email addresses.
The OPM Performance Management Portal contains guidance, resources and tools relating to the following:
- Performance Appraisal Assessment Tool (PAAT)
- Non-SES performance appraisal systems
- Archived Materials Presented during OPM Performance Management Forums
- Performance Management Training Resources
Quarterly Question
The OPM Performance Management Portal also contains the Quarterly Question - an innovative mechanism for agencies to routinely and independently share leading performance management practices by responding to a question posed by OPM in a virtual discussion/sharing environment. The Quarterly Question is based on inputs and suggestions obtained from agencies, and is intended to enable and encourage agencies to share promising practices and lessons learned in implementing performance management policies. Federal agency Performance Management Managers are invited to share their agencies’ performance management strategies, practices, lessons learned, and suggestions as they relate to the topics introduced through the Quarterly Question.
