The following resources provide more information about Medicare.

The Medicare & You Handbook is a reference guide that provides information on benefits, plans, and costs amongst other topics.

  • Receive it by postal mail in the fall of each year if you are enrolled in Medicare.
  • Call to request it, 1- 800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) or TTY 1-877-486-2048.
  • Download it from Medicare’s website.

Medicare.gov has useful tools to find providers, and to compare plans and costs. You can also access your Medicare account and save information about drugs and pharmacies for easy access and cost comparison.

Your FEHB plan brochure or PSHB plan brochure provide specific information on how its benefits are coordinated with Medicare.
