About the Summit
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in partnership with American University School of Public Affairs (SPA) will host its 2nd Annual Research Summit. The Summit is designed to bring together academic researchers, Federal practitioners, and industry partners to exchange ideas, collaborate, and participate in critical conversations about ways to transform Human Capital Management Policy through research, innovation, and analytics. The goals of the Summit are to provoke creative discussions that highlight core human capital challenges facing the Federal Government, and to inspire an effective research agenda that informs the evolution of workforce policy.
The Research Summit will feature individual presentations, panel sessions, roundtable discussions, and symposiums that are focused on the following four tracks:
By fostering collaboration, discussion and debate between stakeholders from multiple communities, Summit organizers hope to identify and gather prescient insights and perspectives that will guide future studies.
