Statement: OPM celebrates the life of former First Lady Barbara Bush

Today, OPM celebrates the life of former First Lady Barbara Bush. Her strong and giving spirit will not be forgotten across the Nation and will forever be woven into America’s history. Her strides in the field of universal literacy have positively impacted thousands, and we are grateful for the legacy she has left behind. The thoughts and prayers of OPM are with the Bush family during this time of mourning, and we are thankful that her last moments were spent in peace alongside those she loved.
