Adam Tanga serves as Senior Advisor in the Office of Congressional, Legislative, and Intergovernmental Affairs at the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) under the Biden-Harris Administration.
Prior to joining OPM, Adam served as Policy Advisor in the General Services Administration’s Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs under the Biden-Harris Administration. At GSA, Adam supported the advancement of the agency’s legislative agenda and worked as a liaison with members of Congress, congressional oversight committees, executive branch agencies, as well as state, local, tribal, and territorial government officials.
Before serving in the Biden-Harris Administration, Adam managed wide-ranging legislative and policy portfolios on Capitol Hill, including for U.S. Senators Daniel Akaka, Mazie Hirono, and most recently with Congressman Gregorio Sablan. In the U.S. House of Representatives, Adam served as Legislative Director and Senior Advisor to Congressman Sablan during his chairmanship of the House Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education.
Adam is a graduate of the U.S. Naval War College and University of Washington.
