The following are OPM’s Mission, Vision, and Values as outlined in the OPM FY 2022 – 2026 Strategic Plan.

Respect. OPM believes in honoring and respecting employees and customers through practices that foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.

Innovation. OPM believes in employing innovative solutions to address Government-wide human capital management challenges and build the workforce of the future.

Service. OPM believes in fulfilling its mission by delivering outstanding customer experiences to Federal agencies, the Federal workforce, retirees, and job seekers.

Excellence. OPM believes in achieving results using approaches that are data driven, grounded in evidence informed policies and practices, and responsive to stakeholder needs.

This plan seeks to refine the mission and vision statements to incorporate the DEIA perspective.
