Associated Group Standard

Use the Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions for this series in conjunction with the Individual Occupational Requirements described below.

Individual Occupational Requirements

General Experience (for GS-5 positions):

Experience that required the ability to interpret and apply correctly laws, rules, and regulations, and the ability to deal effectively with others to secure their cooperation in complying with requirements.

Specialized Experience (for positions above GS-5):

Experience in analyzing customs documents; applying customs laws, regulations, and procedures; interpreting customs requirements; or similar experience involving determinations of rates of duty, classification of merchandise, and entry requirements.
