RATES OF BASIC PAY FOR EMPLOYEES IN SENIOR-LEVEL (SL) AND SCIENTIFIC OR PROFESSIONAL (ST) POSITIONS
EFFECTIVE APRIL 12, 2009
The Senior Professional Performance Act of 2008 (Public Law 110-372, October 8, 2008) establishes a new pay system for senior level and scientific or professional (SL/ST) employees effective April 12, 2009. As of April 12, 2009, SL/ST employees will no longer receive locality pay. The table below covers the period beginning April 12, 2009.
