Summary of 2004 Handbook Changes

October 1, 2004

We updated the Open Season History chart in the Coverage chapter. The chart now includes the September 1- September 30, 2004 FEGLI 2004 Open Season.

March 24, 2004

We updated the MetLife money market account language in the Claims chapter to reflect the new dollar threshold amount of $5,000. This makes the money market account available to a greater number of beneficiaries.
